Maybe you’re a parent homeschooling your children. Maybe your kids go to public or private school, but you want to help them develop their writing more at home. Or maybe you’re a new writing teacher looking for tips on how to reach kids who don’t seem to love writing.
If any of the above applies, this section of my blog is for you. I have been teaching writing for several years, first at the college level at a university, and then at high-school and elementary levels through an organization that provides classes for homeschooling families. While I am still learning all the time, I have decided to share some of what I’ve found effective in the hopes that it might help others.
Feel free to explore the sections most relevant to you, and please contact me if you have any questions I haven’t addressed — I really do respond to comments and messages!
